New Product Debut: Garden Romantique Collection!

Hello Friends!

It's Black Friday, is it a mega shopping day for you?  To me, it's a bonus day to hang out in my craft room and create!!  Yay!

Today the amazing Heartfelt Creations Design Team is showcasing a new release called the "Garden Romantique Collection" over on the Nov. 24th page of the HC Blog!  Be sure to check out the new intro video and the tons of inspiration!  Here is the official release description to give you a feel for all that it includes:

  • Love is in full bloom with the Romantique Garden collection from Heartfelt Creations. A romantic symphony composed in subtle shades of pink, fuchsia, green, cream and charcoal harmonizes beautifully with picturesque images of dainty hummingbirds, devoted love birds, graceful swans and delicate bleeding heart bushes. Ornate ironwork backgrounds are in perfect harmony with layered elements of vintage sheet music, lace, flowing handwriting, scrollwork, florals, stripes and flourishes. Six hand drawn stamp sets capture the idyllic beauty of a peaceful garden where swans glide across the surface of a glassy lake, nesting lovebirds are wreathed in flowers, and hummingbirds sip nectar from blossom laden branches of exquisite beauty. The coordinating die cuts feature elegant swirled stems, a graduated set of bleeding heart blossoms and a majestic pair of swimming swans. Dreamy and idyllic, uplifting and inspiring, romantic and moving as a masterfully scored concerto, this enchanting collection is a celebration of love and life amidst the extraordinary beauty of nature.
And here are a couple of cards I made with this super sweet and unique collection.  I fell in love with it almost immediately!

For this Hummingbird card, I stamped and die cut the bleeding hearts and vines with the die collection and assembled them across two different panels from the coordinating paper collection.  The hummingbird image is actually pre-printed on the paper!  I trimmed around the border of the top maroon panel so it became a "shaped" card.  So quick, easy and fun!

This card demonstrates the versatility of the collection, both in color choice and occasion. Fun and versatile and perfect for the special person in your life, weddings and Valentine's day!  Instructions for both my cards, in complete detail, can be found on the Heartfelt Creations Blog here -- along with an amazing collection of samples made by the Design Team!  Stop by to see all the possibilities!

Mini Wind Chimes Ornament

Hi Friends,

Today I have an altered project for you using my Heartfelt Creations goodies!

I purchased an unpainted wood wind chime awhile back from Hobby Lobby.  All these light weight wood products are hard for me to resist; they're inexpensive and my brain kicks in to crafty mode when I see one that is begging to be altered!!

I started by tracing the wood panel onto HC papers from the Once Upon a Time collection and then made some flowers using Tattered Blossoms stamps and dies from the Old English Garden collection.  I assembled some gold plastic floral branches and mini dollhouse birds along with my flowers onto the covered panel and that was pretty much it!  Full instructions, products listing, and details on making it can be found on the HC Blog today!

Special Wishes Cards - Heartfelt Creations

Hello Friends!

Here are two cards I created for Heartfelt Creations this week!  It's such a great feeling to be working with the awesome products from HC, I'm still pinching myself about being on the Team!!

The first card I made uses stamps, dies, and paper from the Classic Sunflower Collection.  I've always loved the Fall color palette and this set just lends itself so well to those colors!  I just love working with it!

My second card is made using a couple of different collections by HC.  So much variety and versatility with these products!!

I used the Majestic Blooms collection, the Once Upon Time collection and Cut Mat Create collection.

All the step by step details on how to make this card are posted on the HC Blog today so I hope you'll pop over there to check it out along with some other pretty fantastic samples created by the rest of the Design Team!!

Design Team Announcement!

Hi Friends!

To those of you that didn't "get" to hear my insane SHRIEKING when I learned I had actually been selected as a new member of the Heartfelt Creations Design Team, this post is for you (LOL)!!  I received the awesome news last month and have since been gearing up to start my new HC journey!  Thank you so much to friends and family that put in your votes -- I'm grateful!!

I'm very excited and can't tell you how much I've been inspired by the encouragement and validation of being part of this team! I'm so looking forward to this opportunity!  My first "official" post as a DT member is posted today on the HC Blog -- please pop over there to check it out if you get a chance!

The wall hanging shown in the lead photo of this post (and to the left here) was one of the items I submitted for the final phase of the DT application.  It's totally made of paper, stamps and dies from the HC Classic Sunflower Collection that was released in September 2014.

Along with the wall hanging, I submitted this easel card that included decorative "lady bug pins" and a pin holder that I made with the same Sunflower Collection. If you click on the image to the left, you can get a better look at the pins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll continue to check in every Wednesday for all my upcoming Heartfelt Creations projects!

Hugs,
