You Make Me Smile

Hi Friends,

This card is another featuring Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies. The flower bunch was made with the Majestic Blooms collection.

I stamped the "Vintage Morning Background" stamp onto cream colored CS two times with brown ink.  I die cut them with the coordinating die and assembled 4 different flowers to use on my card.  I used Gold, Lime Green and Rose Viva Decor 3-D Stamp Paint to give them color.  I added a rose-colored mini-rose cabochon to the center of the largest bloom.

To create the card panel, I stamped the "Majestic Morning Blooms" image onto white cardstock and colored it with Copics.  Using the stamped image as my template, I added my formed blooms on top of the image and a couple of additional smaller ones surrounding them.

To finish it off, I splattered some of the Gold stamp paint over the panel, added some green metallic bling and mounted the panel onto a black panel.  I stamped the sentiment from Just Rite "Grand Sentiments" set in black ink.

Blooming Party

 Hi All,

The supplies for this card today are mostly all dies and paper.  The variety of dies out there is just mind boggling!  How do you choose??

I started by die cutting white CS and SU DP with Simon Says Chevron Pattern die.  I used the white die cut as my background on a cream CS base.  Then I randomly glued individual chevron pieces from the SU DP into the negative spaces of the white background.

Next I die cut a couple of "Lacy Leaves" from SU Blackberry Bliss CS.  Followed by the "Party" block piece by Little B in gold metallic paper.

The flower was made using SU's Beautiful Bunch punch and matching stamp.  I stamped the flower twice in Hello Honey ink and punched them out.  Sprayed them lightly with water and pinched and shaped them using my flower shaping tools from Heartfelt Creations.  For the center of the flower I die cut two of the stamens from Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms set using Blackberry Bliss CS.

For the final assembly, I added a strip of coordinating SU DP across the lower middle of the card base and arranged all my pieces onto the card.

Kute Koala!

Hi All!

This very easy card uses SU! "Kind Koala" stamp.  I stamped it twice - once onto white CS and once onto a SU! DP panel.  I colored the image I had stamped on white CS with Copics and fussy cut it out.  I placed it over the stamped image on the DP, and in place of the little flower image the Koala is holding, I attached a 3-D flower sticker and a little half-back silver pearl.  To finish him off, I added glossy accents to his nose to make it shinny!

Design Team Semi-Finalist :)

Hi Friends!

Fun news to share!  I submitted the projects I'm sharing today to Heartfelt Creations as part of my application for their design team.  I learned today that I made it past the first cut, and I'm really excited and honored by the recognition!

I'm hoping you'll have a chance to go to their blog and check out the list of semi-finalist and choose at least five of them as your favorites -- and maybe that will include me!?? :)   Either way, when you place your vote, you'll be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the HC store!  That is pretty awesome in itself!!

Here's the link to the blog and voting info:  Heartfelt Creations Semifinalists

Along with the fan (photo above) that I made as one of the projects, I submitted these two cards for consideration....

This first one is for my boss... yes, I'm lucky enough to have a boss that is a motivator and inspiring!

This one is a birthday card for my sister:

Thanks for your support
